We had a great time exploring new books from Usborne this week.  The favorites were the "Shine-a-Light" books.  Please ask your student to share with you what these books can do!  We were able to spend over $600 for new books for the library.  Thank you so much.  If you would still like to order, the following link will be open until Tuesday of this week.

OBOB Results!!

3rd-5th grade Snicker Of Reading won the school OBOB tournament!   All teams battled very well and it was so great to see a big audience to support our readers.  Snicker of Reading will battle at regionals on Saturday, March 18th at Boones Ferry Elementary School in Wilsonville.  

6th-8th grade Book Wyrms won their tournament!  This was a close battle the whole way.  They will battle at regionals in Estacada on Sunday, March 19th.  Thank you for your support.  

Author Visit

We had the honor to host Keir Graff, the author of "The Matchstick Castle".  Keir held us captive as he read excerpts from his book as well as shared stories of what led to the inspiration of his writing.  It was such an honor to have him come all the way from Chicago to little Molalla.  Many students were excited to get his book.  We have an autographed copy in our library.  Please come check it out.
